1.2365 is a high-alloyed hot work tool steel known for its exceptional thermal stability, high hardness, and excellent wear resistance. It falls into the category of chromium-molybdenum hot work steels and is widely utilized in the manufacturing industry for producing tools and molds subjected to extreme temperatures and mechanical stress.

Heat Treatment:
1.Annealing: Heat uniformly at 840-880°C (1544-1616°F), hold for sufficient time, then slowly cool in the furnace to below 600°C (1112°F) for complete annealing.
2.Quenching: Preheat slowly to the austenitizing temperature of 970-990°C (1778-1814°F), then quench rapidly in oil or air to achieve full hardness.
3.Tempering: Immediately after quenching, temper at 560-600°C (1040-1112°F) for 2-3 hours, followed by air cooling to obtain the desired combination of hardness and toughness.
