Heat Treatment

1. Annealing
In a protected environment, elevate the temperature to 780 ºC and gradually decrease to 650 ºC within the furnace at a controlled rate of 10 ºC per hour, followed by air cooling.
2. Stress Elimination
Post rough machining, heat consistently to 650 ºC, maintain for 2 hours, then slowly decrease to 500 ºC, before allowing to cool naturally in the air.
3. Hardening
Preheat within the range of 600-850 ºC
Quench at a temperature window of 980-1050 ºC
