About products
6CrW2Si is a steel grade formed by adding a certain amount of tungsten on the basis of
chromium silicon steel, because tungsten helps to preserve relatively fine grains during
quenching, thereby achieving higher toughness in the tempered state.". CrW2Si steel has
higher quenching hardness and certain high-temperature strength than 4CrW2Si steel and
5CrW2Si steel. It is commonly used to manufacture tools that withstand impact loads and
require high wear resistance, such as pneumatic tools, chisels and stamping molds, cold
shear blades, blanking dies, air hammer tools, and so on.

Application
1. Suitable for low deformation steels and Cr12 series steels that are made of carbon steel and
have insufficient bearing capacity, and are quenched with oil. They are prone to brittle cracking,
while they are made of high-speed steel or high-strength steel, which is not economical and highly
wear-resistant.
2. When the main failure forms of the mold are wear and collapse, this steel can be used instead.
3. Suitable for manufacturing scissors, slicing punches, etc.
4. It can be used for stamping dies, press molds, casting finishing tools, pneumatic chisels, etc.
working under heavy loads.
5.As a hot working steel, it can be used to produce screws and hot rivet punches.
6. High temperature die cast light alloy plug.
7. Hot forging dies, etc.
