Heat Treatment

1. Annealing
In a protected environment, heat the steel to 780 ºC and gradually reduce to 650 ºC within the furnace, decreasing at a steady rate of 10 ºC per hour, then let it cool naturally in the air.
2. Stress Elimination
Post-roughing, it is imperative to heat the material to 650 ºC, maintaining the temperature for 2 hours, followed by a slow cool to 500 ºC, before allowing it to cool in the air.
3. Hardening
Preheat within the range of 600-850 ºC
and raise the temperature for quenching to between 980-1050 ºC
