PM390/ASP 2052 HSS Grade - (Powder HSS T42) also known as ASP2052 is a premium, high-performance Powder Metallurgical material. It features an optimal composition of high cobalt (8%), high vanadium, high tungsten (10%), chromium, and molybdenum alloyed steel. This exceptional material can be heat treated to attain an impressive hardness of HRC 67-69. Its substantial carbon, vanadium, and cobalt contents grant it abrasion resistance on par with T15 and red hardness surpassing that of M42. With its high hardness, fine grain structure, and consistent carbide dispersion, PM390/ASP 2052 HSS stands out as an exceptional choice for specialized cutting tools demanding remarkable red hardness, superior abrasion resistance, and robust toughness.
