Heat Treatment:
Annealing: Heat uniformly at 820-850°C (1508-1562°F), maintain the temperature for a sufficient duration, then cool slowly in the furnace to below 600°C (1112°F) for complete annealing.
Quenching: Preheat slowly to the austenitizing temperature range of 980-1010°C (1796-1850°F), then quench rapidly in oil or air to achieve maximum hardness.
