Product Description

Characteristics:

A new type of mold steel with high quench transparency, high hardness, high weld repair performance,
and high polishing performance. Strong wear resistance and good combination of cutting properties
(equivalent to 30HRC-300HRC steel). Superior weldability ensures the most ideal fusion effect for
chemical etching and polishing in the welding area. The carbon content of SP400 is low in chemical
analysis, reducing the hard spot to ensure uniform material structure. The following are machine
characteristics sampled at 75mm (3") thickness: Hardness (HB) 380, Y.S. 0.2 Mpa 1000, UTS Mpa 1260, Elongation 12%, KCV20ºC (J/cm2) 8/10, Gpa 205. Guaranteed hardness: 356/395HB. SP400 has good
hardness performance, ensuring uniformity of thick plates (especially suitable for deep cavity polishing or etching).
