Heat Treatment

1. Annealing
Under protective conditions, heat the steel to 780 ºC and gently cool it down to 650 ºC inside the furnace at a rate of 10 ºC per hour, finishing with an air cool.
2. Stress Elimination
Post-roughing, bring the temperature to 650 ºC, maintain the heat for 2 hours, then cool slowly to 500 ºC, followed by air cooling.
3. Hardening
Preheating Temperature: Maintain between 600-850 ºC
Quenching Temperature: Set between 980-1050 ºC
